What phone case protects best?

Hard cover regardless of phone type. It will protect your phone much better than a silicon case. I prefer the regular hard case over the rubberized textured one. The rubberized ones make it hard to put your phone in your pocket! Currently I have a smooth case on the back of my Droid 2 and a rubberized cover on the top.
