Keep deceased dog until ground thaws?

Personally, I wouldn't store the dog unless you could find freezer space for it. Perhaps some family members would pitch in on cremation? I recently had a 100-pound dog euthanized, cremated, and returned to me in an urn for $125. It's not that expensive. If you are getting high quotes for cremation, you may want to do some shopping around.
