How to win a student council election?

Looks like a popularity contest rather than who is more qualified..so that sucks...but in middle school and high school that is just how it is..if i was you I would just be nice try your hardest be respectful...but don't get to worked up about it because if you lose you will be soo upset...so take the whole process with a grain of salt....just try your best..sound like a cliche but thats really what you have to do
