Is Obama lying about Iran to justify starting a war?

in spite of government crackdown of information, they have accused the West of inciting the riots. They are adamant about developing nuclear power for a weapon to exercise its muscle over the Middle East, and since we are the dominant voice against this, they are looking for any excuse to demonize us. Seeing that Lyndon Johnson used a lie to get us into Vietnam, and George Bush did the same with Iraq, it's normal to be suspicious but we certainly aren't looking to go to war with Iran. For one thing, our military is too stretched and depleted to consider any other military action.
