My boyfriends family rents their home and for the second time the central air has stopped working. His mom put a window air conditioner in her upstairs room about a week ago , maybe 2. We came home today and DOWNSTAIRS, underneath where the window unit would be, the ceiling had a huge bubble which eventually bursted and now black water is dripping down the walls. I guess my question is .. is this water toxic to be around (obviously were not going to ingest it) .. and how screwed are we ?
