Why does my mom do this?

I dont think you should take it personal, your mom loves you very much, there could be some things within her that are going on that are no appropriate for an 11 year old to know about. Its very hard raising children and working, so give your mom a break. Im 32 and I have a 13 year old that she also says I scream and yell alot. But the truth is is that I love my daughter very much. I dont mean to yell alot, but my daughter sometimes does not listen to me. So it frustrates me. And on top of her not listening I have alot to do and get done every day on a daily basis. I have to clean, cook, work outside of the home, be a chauffer, provide clothing for her, etc, etc, etc. So sometimes I feel the least that my daughter could do is listen the first time around so I dont raise my voice. But again, the fact that I raise my voice doesnt mean I dont love my daughter, I love her more than she ever could know, that is why I do raise my voice. So this is why I really think you should give your mom a break, just try to do more for her to make her life better and to help her. Make sure shes taken care of for once and you will see a big difference. In all honesty, Im sure your mom is not as mean as you make her out to be, Im sure she cares for you very much that is why she feels the need to get after you.Trust me, you will understand once your a mom yourself and trying to juggle a household and everything else.
